Biography
Mindaugas Ažušilis (b.1987) in one of the most promising young art photographers in Lithuania. He has been working as fine art photographer since 2005, participated in group exhibitions in Lithuania, France, Germany, United Kingdom and Georgia.
Mindaugas has been awarded several international photography awards in competitions such as Circulations: Young European Photography, Encontros da Imagen, Lens Culture Student Photography Awards, and the Baltic biennial of photography.
His first photography book Happiness in Lithuania was published in 2012.

Happiness in Lithuania
Happiness in Lithuania is a photographic typology of happiness, which lays bare banality, vanity, and the fact that many are content with the mere outward image of happiness. Although it contains a hint of irony, this project goes beyond national borders and calls for supporting the politics associated with the ethics of unwillingness.
