Home

Home is a series of photographs taken over a period of 10 years in the rural region of southern Denmark, called Lolland, where I grew up. Due to depopulation, an increasing number of houses and farms are being abandoned, leaving many of the small communities in a state of decay and hopelessness. The series explores this phenomena objectively, letting the abandoned houses, interiors and landscapes become anonymous testimonies to the passage of time.”
