European Prospects: Clementine Schneidermann's new book Ffasiwn Magazine
A new book of a series of portraits of youth in style by Clementine Schneidermann in collaboration with Charlotte James called Ffasiwn Magazine is published by Martin Parr Foundation and Bleak & Fabulous. It's to celebrate the youth spirit of a small town of Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
Clementine captured the hope of youth after their costume workshop, which was led by Charlotte, a creative director originally from the same town. The series of portraits oppose the often bleak portrayal of South Wales that ties with high children poverty, deprivation and high unemployment numbers.
Clementine is a French photographer, based in Wales.
