York Art Council 28th Annual Juried Competition

The 28th Annual Juried Competition exhibit includes original work in 2D, 3D and video, created in the last two years, and not previously shown at the Dalton Gallery.
Artists, aged 18 and older, are eligible to enter the 28th Annual Juried Competition. Only original work, created in the last two (2) years, and not shown previously at the Center for the Arts, Dalton Gallery will be accepted. All forms of media are eligible. All work must be presented in a professional manner. Accepted work must be exhibition-ready to be included in the show. 3D work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly mounted for hanging. Framed pieces must be securely wired; glazed plexiglass is preferred; size is restricted to 72 inches in any direction, including the frame. All video work must be accompanied by a compatible player and a monitor that is 24 inches or smaller.
• All entries must be submitted as:
o jpeg saved at 300dpi on CD, or
o MP4 videos that are no longer than one minute in length
• Artist may provide up to two separate images for each work submitted
• Entry titles must be labelled as such:
o First Initial-Last Name-Entry Number
• For example An entry by Kelly Smith is labelled as K-Smith-1. If a second view of the work is included, it should be labelled as K-Smith-1a.
