Uncertain States Open Call

Open calls | 11 June 2015 - 12 July 2015

Uncertain States co-founders David George, Spencer Rowell and Fiona Yaron-Field have teamed with curator Mary George to find the best contemporary lens-based art in the UK. Following on from the incredible response to UCS 2014 Open Call we are inviting submissions from all emerging or established lens based artists for Uncertain States Open Call 2015.

The open call will culminate in an exhibition in October at Four Corners Gallery in London’s East End to coincide with UCS‘s 6th anniversary and the publication of the UCS broadsheet Issue 24.

UCS is committed to championing socially and critically engaged contemporary developments in photography through our publications, programme of talks and exhibitions. Open Call 2015 helps us to further this commitment. With the help of our distinguished panel of judges, we look forward to discovering the best of contemporary British Photography.
